1st Galaxy Fireworks are performing their art at Nottingham Riverside Festival this weekend.

The first saturday of the month in August is synonymous in Nottingham with the Riverside Festival. A weekend of family entertainment held down on the riverbank of the Trent next to the world renowned Trent Bridge.

Of course Trent Bridge is well on the map in 2013 as the England Cricketers and Australian Team provided fans with an amazing few days of test cricket. 

This weekend the place will be humming with families and festival goers as Nottingham City Council provide a stunning weekend of entertainment.

The Festival is a must for firework lovers, its one of the largest on the UK Calendar and has been running for many years indeed and has a solid reputation for the WOW factor.

In recent years 1st Galaxy Fireworks have been privileged and proud to take part and provide a stunning finale to round up the festival and boat parade that happens on the Saturday Evening.

This years display is set to be another stunning performance as the Ten strong team of Pyrotechnicians spend the day installing a vast array of pyrotechnics, fireworks and effects on the waters edge.

The Display Manager at 1st Galaxy (which is me Lee Smith) designed the show several weeks ago, and three of the team have been hard at work ever since fusing and building the intricate effects that go into the show schedule.

This years see's the harmonisation of European Standards for Fireworks across Europe and this includes professional fireworks to. As a result 1st Galaxy have been extremely pleased and fortunate to team up with an EU partner and become UK Distributors for Jorge Fireworks.
